Overview

Let’s find your new home.

Looking to buy a house?
You've come to the right place.

Buying a home is a big deal! And the single most important decision you will make in this home purchasing process will be the real estate agent you choose as your partner.

But before you even look at your first house...

Let's meet!

My preference is to meet at my office or a coffee shop. If we think we want to work with one another, we need to get to know one another. And if we do coffee, it'll provide us that opportunity. (And, just so you know, it's always my treat.) Let’s connect.

SPEAK WITH A LENDER.

Whether you are purchasing a preexisting home or land for building a new home, I can refer you to the appropriate lender, if you’d like – just ask! After speaking with your lender, you will know what price range and monthly payment are right for you.

Make a plan.

After you speak with the mortgage lender, we will customize a plan and course of action based on your unique needs and hopes. As we journey together, it is not uncommon for wants and needs to change. And that's totally okay! It's simply part of the process.

Clients Say...

Clients say...

"We could not have asked for a better Realtor than Will. His clear understanding of what we were looking for in a home, combined with his professionalism and experience in real estate, made the process easy for us in finding our perfect home. We also really appreciated that Will was considerate in not rushing our decision and gave us time at each house showing to honestly discuss our impressions of the house with one another. Working with Will was a pleasure, and we absolutely plan to utilize him again in the future. We highly recommend Will Easter for any of your real estate needs!"

How we'll work together

Initial consultation

This is our opportunity to get to know one another, align our goals and expectations, and establish our next steps.

Buyer’s agreement

This agreement establishes the terms of our relationship. It is also a required legal document that allows me to work for you.

the search

Together, we'll discover and refine exactly what you want and need in a home — and then find the home that's just right for you.

offer & negotiations

All of our efforts bring us to this moment. Expert negotiation skills, wisdom, and understanding ensure your goals are met.

contract to close

This phase of the process is filled with variables and decisions both big and small. My job is to make it seamless (and to make it look effortless).

client appreciation

Even though the transaction is complete, the relationship never ends.  I'll stay in touch — and will never be too busy for you or any of your referrals.

Documents

As part of our work together, I will thoroughly review and explain all the required agreements and documents, not to worry. But you will have a better understanding and a smoother experience if you’re familiar with the basics before we begin.

Buyer agreement

The buyer agreement is legally required to establish the relationship between a buyer and an agent. It lists the expectations we have of one another.

Purchase agreement

The purchase agreement lays out the terms of the purchase. Buyers and sellers need to review it carefully and clearly understand it because once you sign this document, you are bound by it.

PROPERTY DISCLOSURE

Caveat emptor (“let the buyer beware”) is the law in Virginia. With few exceptions, homes are sold as-is without any representations or warranties.

lead based paint disclosure

The Lead Based Paint Addendum is required for all homes built before 1979. The pamphlet Protect Your Family from Lead in Your Home provides more information.

Wondering what to do next? Let's have coffee. My treat!

Let's get to know one another. Even if you are not about to buy or sell a house today... that's okay, let me treat you to coffee anyway. Then, when you are ready to buy or sell, the real estate side of things becomes much easier because you already have an advocate who knows you and cares.

Relationships always come first because they matter the most, and in our community, we’re all neighbors.
